Grafta Nanotech Announces Proposed Business Combination with Wittering Capital

Grafta Nanotech Inc. (“GRAFTA”), a Canadian materials-science company pioneering graphene-based wastewater remediation, is pleased to announce it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Wittering Capital Corp. (“Wittering”). The proposed business combination would see GRAFTA become a wholly owned subsidiary of Wittering, with the combined entity expected to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange as a Tier 2 industrial issuer.
Founded in 2022, GRAFTA develops proprietary synthetic graphene materials that remove heavy metals, hydrocarbons, and other industrial contaminants from water with near-zero leaching. The company’s breakthrough adsorption technology supports cleaner, more sustainable operations in the mining, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
The combined entity’s leadership team is expected to include Mark Bentsen (CEO), Doug Keast (CFO), and Dain Currie (Director), experienced executives with deep backgrounds in technology commercialization, finance, and corporate growth.
